Chairman of the National Assembly, Narayan Prasad Dahal, and Israeli Ambassador to Nepal, Hanan Goder Goldberger, convened for a diplomatic meeting characterized by courtesy and collaboration.
The rendezvous took place at the Chairman’s office in Singha Durbar on Tuesday, where discussions centered on bolstering diplomatic ties and fostering cooperation between the two nations.

Chairman Dahal commemorated the 60th anniversary of Nepal-Israel diplomatic relations, expressing optimism for their continued strengthening in the future.
Highlighting Nepal’s commitment to peace, Dahal emphasized the country’s advocacy for stability in the Middle East. He underscored bolstering bilateral relations through collaboration in multilateral forums such as the United Nations.
Reflecting on Nepal’s journey towards economic prosperity post-conflict, Dahal solicited significant support from the Israeli government. He also voiced concern over the welfare of Nepali workers in Israel, urging for their safety and employment security.
Dahal lamented the plight of Nepali students in Israel under the Learn and Earn program, particularly emphasizing the need for swift action in locating missing student Vipin Joshi.

Additionally, Dahal encouraged increased tourism from Israel to Nepal, emphasizing the potential for mutual cultural exchange and economic benefit.
Ambassador Goder echoed Dahal’s sentiments, emphasizing the close ties between the two nations and Nepal’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. He expressed solidarity with the families of Nepali students affected by recent incidents in Israel and reaffirmed the Israeli government’s commitment to their support.
Ambassador Goder also highlighted the Learn and Earn program’s positive impact, acknowledging Nepali participants’ contributions to their homeland’s development. He assured ongoing efforts to locate Vipin Joshi and reiterated Israel’s commitment to collaboration with Nepal across various sectors.
