Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Zambian Vice President Dr. Philip M. Pango held a meeting on Sunday at Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar. Both leaders were transiting through Doha en route to Spain to attend the United Nations’ Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development.
During their encounter, the two leaders discussed various aspects of bilateral relations between Nepal and Zambia.
Prime Minister Oli had departed Kathmandu for Spain on Saturday evening, leading the Nepali delegation to the UN conference.
During his visit to Spain, Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to address the conference. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, his itinerary also includes a courtesy call on King Felipe VI of Spain, official talks with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, and ‘sideline’ meetings with other world leaders attending the event.
Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to return to Nepal on Friday, July 4.
