President Ramchandra Paudel was honored at a reception by the Nepali Embassy in Geneva, where Ambassador Ram Prasad Subedi and Nepali residents in Switzerland greeted him.
During the event, Ambassador Subedi briefed President Paudel on the Swiss-Nepal relationship, development cooperation, and the Nepali community’s status in Switzerland.
Ambassador Subedi highlighted that the recent meeting between the presidents of Nepal and Switzerland, the first in 25 years, has fortified bilateral ties. President Paudel’s address at the Global Alliance for Social Justice program’s opening has also elevated Nepal’s global profile.
This reception coincided with the 112th International Labor Conference’s high-level session hosted by the ILO in Geneva on Thursday.
President Paudel is scheduled to depart for an official visit to Germany tomorrow, as per his personal secretariat.
