He highlighted that Nepal’s constitution fully embraces provisions such as equal rights, equal opportunities, and equal treatment, which align with the core principles of the International Labour Organisation.
The Global Coalition for Social Justice, announced during the event, reflects a shared commitment to social justice worldwide.
President Paudel also stressed the importance of ensuring justice and economic gains for the poor and downtrodden to achieve sustainable peace.
Nepal has enshrined labor rights, the right to employment, trade unions, and collective bargaining in its constitution, supported by legal and institutional arrangements.
Additionally, he addressed climate change’s impact on Nepal, advocating for climate justice and adequate funding to address environmental challenges.
He urged the international community to prioritize shared prosperity over investments in weapons for a more peaceful world.
