Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal held a courtesy meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song on Tuesday.
During the meeting, Minister Aryal emphasized Nepal’s firm and unwavering commitment to the One-China policy, affirming that Nepal will not allow any activities on its soil that could undermine China’s sovereignty, unity, or territorial integrity.
Aryal also praised the mutual friendship and trust built on the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence and 70 years of diplomatic relations, expressing commitment to expand cooperation in trade, investment, infrastructure, energy, agriculture, technology transfer, and tourism.
The meeting also discussed advancing priority projects under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
