China has announced a grant amount of about Rs. 9 billion (500 million RMB) to Nepal.
Chinese President Xi Jinping announced during his meeting today with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli who is on an official visit to China.
According to Krishna Prasad Dhakal, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President Xi assured of additional facilities for easing Nepali exports to China and encouraged Chinese businesses to invest in Nepal.
Earlier today, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, held a courtesy meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, a bilateral meeting between the executive heads of the two countries was held at Villa No. 12 of the Deutai State Guest House in Beijing on Tuesday afternoon, during which various issues of mutual interest and interests, including Nepal-China relations, were discussed.
