Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Minister of Foreign Affairs, arrived in Chengdu, China, on Thursday. She was welcomed by Li Huqiang, Deputy Director General of Sichuan Province’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with Nepali Ambassador to China, Dr. Krushna Prasad Oli.
Dr. Rana is leading a Nepali delegation on an official visit, following an invitation from her Chinese counterpart, Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
During her stay in Chengdu, Dr. Rana will engage in bilateral talks with Wang Yi, focusing on strengthening Nepal-China relations and preparing for the upcoming visit of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to China.
The discussions are expected to cover a wide range of mutual interests, including trade, infrastructure, and regional cooperation.
Minister Rana is scheduled to return to Kathmandu on November 30.
