President Paudel Leaving for Diplomatic Visits to Switzerland and Germany

President Ram Chandra Paudel is set to depart for Switzerland today to participate in the inaugural Forum of the Global Coalition for Social Justice.

This event will be held during the High-level Segment of the 112th Session of the International Labour Conference, as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to the Ministry, President Paudel will deliver an address at the Forum on June 13.

Additionally, President Paudel is scheduled to engage in bilateral discussions with his Swiss counterpart, Viola Amherd, on June 12.

Following his stay in Geneva, President Paudel will travel to Berlin on June 15 for an official visit to Germany, invited by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

Official talks between President Paudel and his German counterpart are slated for June 17, as per the Ministry.

The President will be accompanied by his spouse, Sabita Paudel, on this trip. The delegation will also include the President’s Foreign Affairs Expert Dr. Suresh Chandra Chalise, the Secretary of the Office of the President, the Foreign Affairs Secretary, and Nepal’s Ambassadors to Switzerland and Germany.

President Paudel is scheduled to return to Kathmandu on June 19.
