The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, is set to arrive in Nepal this afternoon for a two-day state visit, following a warm invitation from President Ram Chandra Paudel.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Qatari Emir will meet with President Paudel at Sheetal Niwas, the President’s office. Additionally, President Paudel will host a state banquet in honor of the distinguished guest.
On Wednesday, the Qatari Emir will engage in bilateral talks with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
These discussions will be followed by a signing ceremony for bilateral agreements and a memorandum of understanding, as announced by the Foreign Ministry.
The Qatari Emir’s visit will conclude on April 24, when he is scheduled to depart from Kathmandu.
President Ram Chandra Paudel will personally welcome Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani at the Tribhuvan International Airport upon his arrival. Also, President Paudel will host a State Banquet in honor of the Emir of the State of Qatar during his stay in Nepal.
