This visit is a result of the gracious invitation extended by President Ramchandra Paudel, signifying a crucial moment in strengthening the diplomatic ties between the two nations.

During his stay, the Emir of Qatar will engage in high-level discussions aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation and exploring new avenues for collaboration between Nepal and Qatar. The visit holds immense significance in fostering the longstanding friendship and cooperation between these two countries, with a particular focus on investment prospects.

It’s worth noting that the government had previously declared public holidays on the occasions of foreign heads of state visiting Nepal.
