Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has issued an appeal to Nepali speakers and people of Nepali origin residing across the globe. His appeal is for them to invest their acquired skills, knowledge, and capital in the service of their motherland, Nepal.
In a recent meeting with a delegation from the Association of Nepali Origin (ANO) at his official residence in Baluwatar, PM Prachanda emphasized the importance of uniting all Nepali-speaking and Nepali-origin individuals worldwide. Despite their diverse nationalities, he believes that this campaign can foster a sense of unity, as the motherland remains the same.
The ANO’s efforts to connect Nepalis globally through language and culture have received the Prime Minister’s endorsement. He has pledged government support to ensure the success of this initiative.
The ANO, formed during a gathering of Nepali-speaking people in Bangkok, Thailand, aims to preserve Nepali language and culture while uniting the Nepali race. PM Prachanda expressed his best wishes for this new campaign.
ANO President Dilliram Adhikari expressed gratitude for the government’s cooperation and well-wishes. He affirmed that the ANO would serve as an ambassador for Nepali language, art, and culture worldwide, contributing to the nation’s development and connecting future generations to Nepal.
In addition, the organization plans to encourage Nepali investors abroad to invest in Nepal’s education, health, and other sectors.
