The Department of Consular Services has introduced a new online module to facilitate the registration of complaints and issues faced by Nepali citizens living abroad through their respective embassies.
This initiative, launched on Thursday, aims to streamline the process and enhance accessibility for those seeking consular assistance.

During the inauguration of this online system, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Narayan Kaji Shrestha emphasized the importance of raising awareness about the availability of online registration.
He acknowledged that many individuals still visit the department in person due to a lack of knowledge or publicity regarding the online service.
Under this new system, individuals can submit their complaints and requests by filling out forms, even from rural municipalities and towns. The department promptly processes these submissions, ensuring efficient implementation.
Now, citizens both within and outside Nepal can conveniently access consular services online.
Gone are the days when people had to physically visit the department or seek assistance from government officials or ministers. With the online form, consular services are just a few clicks away, even from remote villages.

The implementation process is swift and adheres to legal procedures, making it easier for everyone to receive the necessary support.
