Community Participation: In addition to the main events, there will be a 5-kilometer road race and a 3-kilometer walkathon specifically for school students. These activities aim to engage the local community and promote a sense of unity.
Approximately Rs. 2 million has been allocated for organizing the festival and its associated competitions. The overarching goal is to enhance tourism and economic prosperity by showcasing the rich heritage and spiritual significance of Lumbini.
The Lumbini Peace Concert, held at Lumbini Square, promises captivating performances by renowned artists, including Ani Choying Dolma, Ulan Tuya (a distinguished Chinese singer), and traditional musicians.
Sanu Raja Shakya, Member Secretary of the Lumbini Development Trust, emphasized that this event bridges spirituality, culture, and sports. By doing so, it aims to create a harmonious environment that resonates with the teachings of Buddha.
