The UK-based Nepali businessman and philanthropist Rabi Jung Lamichhane, who chairs the Lamichhane Foundation, has once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to his homeland by donating over Rs 10.5 million to the victims of the recent Bhotekoshi flood.

The foundation deposited £51,727—equivalent to NPR 10.5 million—into the bank account of the Nepali Embassy in London on Thursday. In a ceremony held at the embassy, Lamichhane personally handed over the check to Acting Ambassador Bipin Duwadi and Rastriya Swatantra Party Member of the Parliament Ms. Bidushi Rana.

According to embassy officials, the funds will be directed to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund, ensuring that aid reaches those who need it most.
