Today, the Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Bater, paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ at the Prime Minister’s Office in Singha Durbar.
The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations, mutual cooperation, and the implementation of various agreements between Nepal and China.

Prime Minister Prachanda expressed satisfaction with the progress made in implementing the agreements from his recent visit to China.
He thanked the Chinese government for operationalizing the traditional 14 checkpoints along the Nepal-China border and for the phased implementation of significant agreements.
PM Prachanda also voiced confidence that the remaining agreements would be gradually implemented.
The discussion included the further expansion and continuation of parliamentary exchanges between the two countries.

Vice Chairman Bater reiterated China’s commitment to strengthening its relationship with Nepal, expressing confidence in its future enhancement.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Rupak Sapkota, the PM’s Advisor for Foreign Affairs, Personal Secretary Ramesh Malla, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Krishna Prasad Dhakal, and Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song, among others.
