Pradip Dhakal, originally from Nepal, has officially thrown his hat into the ring for the mayoral race in the town of Herndon, Virginia, USA. He received formal confirmation of his candidacy from the Fairfax County Office of Elections.

A familiar face in local politics, councilmember Pradip Dhakal, who has served on the council for three consecutive terms, aims to step up to the mayoral position.

Expressing his vision for Herndon’s future, Dhakal emphasized the importance of inclusive leadership, open dialogue, and proactive initiatives to advance the town.
